Jessica Lieber is a Graduate Student in Ohio State University's Art Policy and Administration Program. Lieber's academic work focuses on qualitative, auto-ethnographic research and museum studies with a interest in accessibility, sustainability and visual culture. Her artistic pursuits address themes of mental health, motherhood, the rejection of patriarchal societal norms, and female empowerment through historical and contemporary art practices. She blends formal aesthetics with contemporary concepts, incorporating innovative photographic techniques, including alternative, camera-less processes that manipulate photographic chemistry and organic materials.
She received her Bachelor of Fine Art from OSU in 2022.
Lieber serves as the Vice-President of Arts Priori at OSU and is the recipient of the Lawrence and Isabel Barnett Fellowship and Fergus Family Scholarship. Her leadership extends beyond her academic pursuits. Her professional background includes a successful career in retail leadership, where she coached her team to consistently exceed company standards in key performance indicators (KPIs).
Her artistic achievements include the Daniel J. L. Firestone Photography Scholarship, and her work has been exhibited at Urban Art Space, Hopkins Hall Gallery, the Columbus Public Library, and the Alpha Rho Chi Art Collective.
